Question: What is Intuition?
-A friend recently shared his name for it: God Compass First exercise: Sit for 2 minutes and ask for a mantra to help build your Intuition. Second Exercise: Say that mantra 108 times. Meditation: Use your Intuition to ask for clarity on something you need. -I received a blue heart, and the message to make more heart connections.

Greeting Krystian and I took a respite in the woods along the Tallapoosa River. I arrived at sunset and we built a fire. The evening set in with ohms and tones. We asked each other questions until we felt our hearts had been appropriately palpitated. Then I slept under the protective boughs of young limber trees, warmed by red embers of our invigorating fire. Goals The next morning we established short term goals; 3-4 months out. I wrote a list of 10 items. Both of ours involve traveling. We set and shared our intentions. Intuition I found stillness in meditation and asked for a message for my highest good. It came quickly, and was not understood for most of the day. Applying intuition is often the second lesson to becoming aware of your intuition. At our second sunset of the circle, I realized it was a short term health, vitality lesson rather than a long term routine. Scale of time is also important when interpreting your intuition. Try to stay quiet long enough to be clear on how to act from your heart with this new information. Community If we learn to let go of old patterns, we can learn practices not previously known. We can be open to new talents. We can surrender to our hearts. In the woods, I practiced shedding my ego and receiving through my heart. I felt a message from the trees-love. Communities make LOVE bigger. breath of JOYstanding side stretch, goddess squat, reclined crescent
meditation on heart center big bang, side plank, down dog knee taps shoulder openers, seated forward folds awareness in heart emphasis on listening to your body's intuition to know how far to stretch. where else can you use intuition: does my body need vegetables or meat right now? should I spend time with the friend who is negative? what direction should I take my career? in stillness, the answer is clear. Yoga, Ohms, Toning.
Outside for bon fire...walking labyrinth releasing things that no longer serve us to the fire offering things of attachment to the fire sharing lessons and questions energy healing drumming, music, singing conversation hung around being present, and being happy. Guest leader, Abhi, took us on a journey of peeling away layers of consciousness and releasing our ego-bodies. I love the Kundalini breathing exercises we practice to loosen up; churning and pulsing. Then we focused on heightening one sense. Then isolated points of awareness. The sky fell dark while we were sitting. When I opened my eyes, the trees were silhouettes against a quickly deepening sky.
Five friends gathered at my house; sage was burned. Kristian (http://kristian.bandcamp.com/) Rodriguez co-led and started us off with grounding and a 3-word check-in. I got too excited and used a generous 23 to describe: Bubbly, Smiley, Blissful.
Earlier we had drafted a menu of activators to use throughout the night. (ohm it home, toning, movement, drawing) Later the group added: Play with the Tree in the front yard, eat peanut butter and apples, color&shape guessing game, sharing current lessons: channeling, dimensions. We closed with everyone sharing a mantra. |
